Andrew Ouellette has won his fair share of comedy competitions including a 2011 Tacoma Comedy Club Competition, winning a cash prize and position as regular paid host. The Lucky Derby comp was another one, beating out over 30 other comedians for the top spot. However, one win stands out among the rest. Early 2014 – Ouellette won “Sacramento’s Last Comic Standing.” (No relation to the NBC hit show) A professional competition put on by the Center for Spiritual Awareness; a nondenominational church in West Sacramento. Over two separate dates he…

Judge Karen – Wedding Day Disaster Mr. Ouellette went on Court TV as a joke in 2014. He went down to the big fabulous city of Angels and found himself pretending to be in court. Admittedly it’s not his favorite television appearance ever but it is worth checking out if you’re a fan or if you feel like mocking the comedian. Andrew plays a character named “Owen Darby” and finds himself suing his mother in law for ruining his wedding day. The mother has ridiculed his wife (played by Madison…

A girl named “Eve” broke Andrew’s heart on a Thursday night. He was sulking in a late night diner with his friend Bryant Tarpley when he got the idea to make “magic” happen. Sort of like the way mad scientists do. “What if I hire a sky writer or send her 1,000 roses?” Bryant shook his head no. “What if I make her a music video?” Bryant’s response was brief, “No. Do not do that. That only works in shitty romantic comedies.” Andrew’s eyes lit up and he began scribbling…

80 City Tour The last tour before Ouellette took a year off the road to write novels and make films was an 80 city, 3 month affair. The idea was to raise money for childhood cancer research, and although that didn’t go how he had hoped, it was the effort that mattered. The tour was filled with identity theft, engine troubles, and fighting with the man who stole his charity money. The car was broken into and his bags stolen while he was on stage in Chicago. A storm verging…

50 states/50 shows/50 days In 2012 Andrew produced and performed in a tour called the ‘Biggest Tour Ever EVER”. The concept was performing 50 shows in all fifty states in only fifty days. Yes, that include Hawaii and Alaska. He had been touring the country regularly but this was by far the most challenging thing Ouellette was up to at this point. Morgan Preston and Kristine Levine (His tour mates) provided more experience forming a comedy trio. Challenges: fighting, going blind from reoccurring corneal abrasion, cancellations and fill in dates,…

Our anti-hero is now stuck living with his mother at 31 years of age, working at a burger joint, instead of living the intense rock star life style he had been. Newly sober but facing his worst fears and some strange manifestation of his darkest self,…
